I've been looking into this too, but don't know a whole lot on the subject....Are the jets on rockymountainatv.com A.M. size, or stock or what? If I get this, I don't want to be just buying replacement parts, I'm looking for an upgrade.

Edit: Just saw this Dial-A-Jet thing, anyone ever heard of it, and would that be a good buy?

@ShadowMJP

My eigers are jetted with a 115 main jet. They run very strong here in Colorado.

The main jet #s in the Dynojet kit do not coincide with stock jet #s. Kit comes with 9 mains jets as well as a jet needle, e clip and washers.

The stock jet on my Eiger was a 122...

Upgraded to a 130....not much difference...but enough to tell...plus...the bigger the jet...the lower the gas mileage...
a 122 to a 130...I might have lost like 1/2 mile on the gallon or so...Not enough to notice....

there is a good article in this forum...do a search for Eiger and look for a post called "Eiger jetting, stock is 122 WAY TO LEAN"

Or something along those lines....
good information...

I even went one better for ya and found the link to the article...

Good Article on Jetting an Eiger

Note when deciding on jet size. Drastic change in temp and humidity will impact how lean/rich your running. I thought I was good with the main jet I installed back in March but last Sat. the humidity was about 100% and temp mid 80s. Sure richened the mix. Wouldn't take any throttle without shutting off until it idled/warmed a while. I'll be backing down to the next smaller jet and should be good to go.

Hello Back40,

Our website is www.187rideeasy.com

The site is PSN owned site, and we can do better pricing and shipping cost if you call us directly. The site is not really up to my standards, but we are stuck with PSN for about another year. After that, We will have a MUCH better setup.
The site is good to check out some of our products, and to get part numbers, but other than that its pretty bad.
We do offer other products that are not on the website. Pretty much, if you need it, we can get it.

Thanks
Dave
