Default A sad day

I just sold my sportbike of 12 years. I did not ride it much these past years but still loved it as tho I had. (I will post pics as soon as I figure out how to) They reason for sadness is that I had done lots of custom things to it over the course of owning it and it feels like a life friend I let go. It was not done without purpose tho. I sold it because I am getting a new KG in a couple of weeks. I look forward to it when that happens but, will always remember the reason behind the result. I only hope that quading around will bring me as much joy as did the sport bike when I first got it. I have never owned a quad so look forward to its new exposure to the outside world.
Has anyone shared a similar expirence? Maybe a lil, "Hey it'll be allright man, you'll love quading as much if not more" kinda thing.

It would have been nice to keep the bike and add the atv to the toy list .

I know how you feel I sold my V Strom and got a King. The good thing is my wife still has her baby Strom so I still get to ride now and again. Pete

It was a 92 zx-7 ninja. I did mostly cosmetic work to it, polished frame, wheels, discs, triple tree, painted metalic blue, added blue neon acc. and other stuff as well. Took lots of hours of my time to get it to look the way it does. I also had a sweet look'n helmet and leather jacket to boot. It really had a great look. If I can figure how to post pics I could show you. Thnaks tho for the response's. I know I should just "man up" and I will once I have quad in hand.
