KingQuad Skid Plates/Front Bumper
#1
I am purchasing a new KQ this week and have a couple accessory questions.
How does the Suzuki aluminum skid plate and a-arm protectors compare to the Ricochet brand?
What company offers the best protection front bumper with out being really heavy?

I have the Kimpex front bumper from RockyMountain ATV and the Ricochet full skids from ATV Outfitters. I did some searching and they were the best price I could find. Very happy with both. Call em!

You have GOT to see a picture of the Kimpex, I believe Type 7, bumper for the KingQuad. It works with the angles of the headlights and has the same finish of the racks to make it look really cool. Suzuki should put this bumper on straight from the factory. After I get all my other wishes on my list checked off, including a module or ECM which BETTER be coming soon, you better believe I'll have one of these bumpers.

I purchased ATVenture front/rear bumpers on eBay, 28lbs weight for both, $244 including shipping. Kimpex front bumpers are out of stock at all the online places with delivery expected 'late August'. My Suzuki dealer said he found it often takes three months to get the KQ Kimpex front bumpers.

I have (2) of them and I installed the atventure bumpers with warn 3.0 winchs and there's no problem, they look well and function great. I also installed a exhaust billet, cool, next is air cleaner.
