its a 1988 quadrunnder 250 4x4, four stroke

its got 2700 miles on the odo, it puffs white for no apparent reason when you rev it up real high, and also when you ask it something hard, like towing a trailer full of wood (~500 lbs)

also the electric starter doesnt work even tho it turns (theres a knocking sound inside). The engine comes to life as soon as you pull the rope tho... both brake levers are not working (thats minor to me) transmission seems O.K (runs well, and engine runs fine too, and got alot of compression going downhill .... (I thought the white smoke was some ring job ?... maybe not) the plastics are not like new but in O.K condition ... the guy is asking 900$ for it


is it worth it ? I'd buy it as a lil ride for my kids and to go get some wood for my summer house ... is it gonna be easy to fix it ? too pricy ? i need some opinions of people knowing what they're saying
