Im new to this site so hello anyone!!!!

Im trying to fix up an lt 160 for my friend. Im not sure what the year of it is but its older than a 1990. but right now it has some problems. i just got it running yesterday, it ran fine all day yesterday, and at the end of the day it started to act up. if you start goin through the gear and go full throttle, it bogs down..and if i keep holding the throttle it will stall. but if you hold it half throttle its fine, it idles fun but you cant rev it up cause it bogs out...... any suggestion would help great or if someone would have a site to an online manual for this quad

clean the carborator and make sure the gas tank it clean and not old gas

 

Yeah just start with what was already stated clean the carb, tank and change the plug. Put some new gas in and then work from them

 

hey guys thanks for the reply... i cleaned out the carb like 5 times now.. and the tank is clean and the gas is good.. the weird this is.. it started to do it after i tried some wheelies on it. now i cant get it to run right for nothing... the air fliter was filty dirty so i took it off and it still runs like crap. whats weird is if i go start it tommorow it will run fin for about 5 minutes then go back to running like junk when you give it full throttle.....im gonna get a new plug for it tommorow and i got an air filter on order

Check the air intake for leaks.

 

thanks for the reply.... hmm that is weird, i checked for leaks in the air intake and found that the tube going from the carb to the air intake box wasnt connected good... but i tried something while the quad was idling i took that same tube off which eliminated the air box...now for the weird part it started running fine, it reved fine, i didnt wanna take it for a ride for the fear of dirt getting in, the motor has no mods done to it. but can someone tell me what the screws do on the left side of the carb and how to adjust it to factory

hey guys i got another ???? i did everything that you guys said... still the same. i talked to a suzuki dealer and he said it could be the top end.... he said the rings might be goin out of the piston, does that sound like it could be my problem????? any info would greatly help... and thank you all once again who replied
