I have to ask what happened to the bottom end of your motor? I've had mine for well over 10 years, beat that poor thing all day long, got the motor so hot on numerous occaisions that it actually changed colors, and still runs perfect. No smoke, no nothing.
Anyway, are you looking to just rebuild the bottom end (Crank, main bearings, rod, etc) or do you need cases as well?

acquired a rolling chassis and have ripped it down and began rebuilding it from the ground up. The engine was in a bucket, pretty much cases, a bunch of bolts, top end and a locked up crank. Had the crank work done by Vince's Cycle, but the bottom end I have is missing alot of parts and I think it would be easier to find another bottom end than search for parts and try to rebuild it. just install my new crank and bearings in another one and be done. hopefully be as lucky as you to last me 10 years as well.

Depending on what I have left over I will consider it but looking at what I have already I am not sure if it will be worth the time. The other engine I am getting is complete except the crank case is busted. I am using my original crank case and crank and pretty much all the guts from the new one. My trany is not complete and I am not sure what I am missing so it would be almost impossible to try and list the parts. I will have 2 cylinders and 2 cylinder heads but that is all I am sure about right now.
