Default Suzuki Samuri

They're not smaller than any ATV, period. I think people are just being a little over dramatic in this post. They are extremely small vehicles, but they're definitely not smaller than any ATV. I saw one this weekend in the parking lot of Home Depot so I made a point to check out the dimensions. I can see where the overall width could be within a few inches of a really wide MX quad (which are limited to 50 inches), but they have a lot longer wheelbase than any quad. They are extremely short for a vehicle (I have a Bronco II which I consider very short, but the Samurai was even shorter), but there much longer than a quad, even the 6 wheeled ATV's that Polaris used to make. (Maybe they still make them, I'm not sure.) Now if you're comparing them to the side-by-side vehicles like the John Deere Gator and Yamaha Rhino, I can see that being a valid comparison as far as wheelbase and width, but those aren't considered quads (or even ATV's for that matter) and the Samurai still weighs a lot more than those.
