It's about time an ATV manufacturer upped the standard warranty. Six months standard warranty is ridiculous. Hopefully this will make other manufacturers feel they need to increase their standard warranties as well. I have to commend Bombardier for that....3 years...that's impressive.

No offence but you can modify any big bore you want and it still won't offer the overall performance like 800 Outty!!!!!!!!!!

JMO but who cares!!! Ride what you got and have fun! I've seen little 300cc quads follow all my big bore friends everywhere and the best part about it is they had enough money to buy their wife a quad too (more riders more fun).
All have their advantages/disadvantages but for the most part they are all the same. All the new Big Bores are great machines and I bet if one gets stuck in a spot they all will. The ATVs are getting better with time but the prices are really getting out of hand. If you put enough money into something it will outperform anything out there. I've seen some very heavily modded 500cc quads that will totally destroy my KQ in the mud but if I did the same thing to mine I would be just as good. How much money are you willing to pay is the real question.

Call me a bit simple minded, but i have always despised Bombardier. Mainly because they are ugly as sin. My neighbor had the Traxter 650 and it was junk. I know this new Bomb, is going to be outstanding, but like Outrage said. Who cares, More riders, more fun. BTW, i live on the Gulf Coast, and every dealer is down here, except Bomb, i personally dont really think of them as a major manufactuer of ATV's, because theres not a dealer around here form over 100 miles. I wonder why?

Elka's are $750-$900 for one set, the engine mods are at least $800. Those mods would put at a higher price than the Outlander and IMO it still wouldn't handle as good. Remember the unsprung weight on the Outty is the lowest of all 4x4’s; overall center of gravity is lower, doesn't sway and has more suspension travel. Shocks alone couldn't accomplish the handling traights of the Outlander.
I would suggest a test ride to prove what I am saying and for those who say it is ugly just look at one at a dealership to change your mind.
All the machines today are good I wanted what I feel is the best one for my first GNCC race.

Because most of them like being in debt up to there eye *****) One thing I can promiss you is, when the end of the trail comes. You won't be more than a couple of quad lengths back.

I have been waiting a long time for someone to put out a 4x4 that can stretch it's legs a bit. They say the Out800 will do an honest 75 (72 for the 2 up Max). If someone makes a big bore that can go 75 stock and costs less I would buy it. But for now BRP seems to be the only company out there that knows there is a population out here willing to pay for some speed.
