Jw.. how much power would i get from installing cams in my KFX. Would it be low end or top end? How much would they cost me and what brand should I consider? thx.

 

i ride woods. Ive been looking around and it says if i ride woods that i should change the INTAKE cam only. is this true? how much more power top end and mid range am i looking at? thx.

 

Get the web cams they have a nice selection for the kfx-400,. dont get the hotcams they weigh twice as much as web cams. I am still regretting the hotcams purchase. I have set of web cams on the way.

their not worth getting unless your quad is more built up. You would want to do exhaust, intake, and cdi before cams.

 

Murdr, I noticed on the web cams web site they had diffrent grinds, did a rep help you chose?. Because I was wondering what would be a better cam than hot cams with a higher compression ratio and exhaust upgrade. Something with a killer midrange. But anyway give us the rundown on your cams when they come in, rumor has it there billet steel?.

 

My web cams should be here on wensday, and i will be ready to test them out next weekend. I did not get the billet cams because they cost alot more. The webcams are half the weight of the hotcams which means it takes less power to turn both the cams. So its like running your car with the A/C on and the running it with the A/C off . I will post a new topic once i have tested them out, it seems no one else on this forum has webcams in their Z-400.
