what kind of conditions do you ride in? I personally liked the setup for my front suspension because I do alittle bit of all types of riding, and when I jumped they were just stiff enough not to bottom out but soft enough to preload easy and be comfortable. For the back, you have 30 clicks of adjustment, and I set it 20 clicks to the soft and 10 clicks firm, so it was alittle softer then firmer to help absorb the shock of pretty much anything, but mainly when I cased jumps

Thats the thing I do both dunes and a little trail riding. I am thinking that I will make it nice and firm for the dunes and a little bit softer for the trails???
EDIT: PS thanks for the help!!

I have an 06 z400. I took it over a jump several times, and it bottomed out every time.
