Hey I was wondering if shocks from any other quad will fit an 86 LT250R. I am looking for something stiffer then stock cause of my Burgard +2 a-arms and with some more adjustability, and would allow me to keep the ride height i have now or even raise it up a inch or two. Hopefully more modern to. The works ones are currently out of my price range.

 

Lots of possibilities. I had 400ex shocks on my LT250r with stock a-arms and it was a great improvement. Even better 450r or Z400 (05) shocks, or watch e-bay any buy some used works, PEP, TCS you can find them for around 200-300.
