Default Just some z400?'s

Does anybody know where I can find a z400 shop manual online that I can look at and not buy?
By the way can someone tell me what suzuki recomends on how much oil to put in the z400 and
if it would hurt the clutch or any other part of the bike to put synthetic oil in the z?

Can't help you on the site for a manual.

But, running synthetic oil won't hurt your bike. I have a synthetic blend in mine and it runs fine

As far as how much oil:

without filter change-2000ml or 2.1 quarts

with filter change-2100 ml or 2.2 quarts

Also, don't forget to drain the oil out of the crankcase. There will be a little bit in there.

Why are you asking this in a yamaha forum? Not trying to be rude...

I don't notice a difference between it and stock while riding. The difference is the way they look. All my research showed that the stock didn't move enough oil around the clutch and because of that, the z400 clutch has a short life. When I did my clutch and put in the Hinson basket, I noticed how it was designed and improved over the stock. There is no doubt in my mind it is helping move more oil around, therefore, the clutch should last longer. I also wish I had added another plate to the clutch and gone with 8 instead of 7. (IIRC, that's how many I installed)

So to answer you is: Yes, I recommend the Hinson basket
