Lt250r Stator???
#1
As we all know, the LT250R stock stator sucks, and is barely powerful enough for a light/tail light. So, what is a good stator that is powerful enough to handle a 60 watt headlight?(slyvania halogen cool blue headlight(55-60watt)
stator=magneto?
i am not sure what the stock stator wattage is, but i want a stator that can power a 60 watt bulb... (for a good price, around 100 bucks, but any comment is appreciated.)
Thank you

the stock stator will run that no problem, the aftermarket ones are for powering 90 to 110watts.
maybe you have a bad stock stator??? I have two extra stock stators in great shape if interested.
I myself bouth a (ricky stator) for $130.00 to run four 35watt lihgts. hope this helps.

see, thats the problem though, the stock stator barely runs the bulb,(car headlight). it will turn on the light, but barely powerful enough to see on the road.
it runs the rear light fine, but the front, which was intended for a car headlight, barely. So should i purchase a lower wattage light, and maybe it would be brighter then, or buy a more powerful stator?
Cause i am not to sure that a lower wattage headlight will do the trick, but maybe you, or someone else will know?
Thank you
