vinson vs rubicon
#12
If you are going to ride sportingly, go w/ the Vinson. Hunting or farm work, the Rubi. No matter what anyone says, the CVT trannys are not inferior. Polaris(in the early days) created that BS. I can count the times I've gotten stranded by a wet/broken belt on....ZERO...fingers (250 mi. on the H/M trail system included). Honda's hydromatic (wasn't that a lyric in "Greased Lightnin'"?) tranny has it's Pro's, but also consider the cons: HEAVY. Not tunable. Expensive should something go wrong. Before you Honda fans start bitchin', I own a Honda, and find it impossible to kill. My kids thrash the Rancher, and it won't stop! But, quit with the crap about CVT's being unreliable. That crap has become Urban Legend. That said: If you're planning on 80% work:20% play=Honda. 80% Play:20% work= Suzuki. Either way, you can't go wrong. Whoa! Now figure the $ dif. What accessories could you buy? Oh..............
Go Ride!

4xZuk is right, the Rubicon is expensive......now you're getting into the KQ and Grizzly price range, but as he says it would be kind of neat to say to people...
Why this Rubicon is automatic...
It's systematic.....
It's hyyyyydromatic....
I just bought a Vinson and I love it.....bought the 5 speed ....they are 600 cheaper than the autos where I live, plus I like manual shifts.....from what i hear and have read the autos are very dependable also. I was looking at some big bores but went with the Vinson and had money left over to buy tires, two trailers and a few other things.
