hi, just wondering what the stock rim size on the 230 is..one of mine looks like it was run with loose lug nuts at one point and all of the holes are stretched..i havent been able to find the rim size anywhere so if anyone can tell me id appreciate it

 

hey man go to e-bay and search item # 4522551055 and ask them the size of the hubs they are selling. it should be the right one and the demensions should be the same. I'll check back here tommarow and if you still don't have a response I'll look through my manual, it is out in the garage in a box, if no one else posts it I don't mind looking it up.

 

the front rim is a 10" rim with a 4/166 bolt pattern and the rear rim is a 9" with a 4/130 bolt pattern....but you can pretty much put any size you want as long as the pattern is the same. hope that helps.

 

well..thats 1/2 of what i need lol..thanks..does anyone know the rim width?..its probably a bad thing to have two different width rims...right?

 

OK MY SUZUKI SHAFT 230 IS THE SAME AS
YOURS AND THE SAME YEAR. THE OTHER DAY
ME AND A COUPLE BUDDIES CHANGED THE TIRE ON THE
BACK CAUSE I BUSTED THE TIRE AND WE WERE GOING
TO PUT 25' TIRES ON IT BUT THEY WERE TO BIG. SO I KNEW
THAT THE 25 WAS TO BIG BUT I THOUGHT IT WOULD WORK. SO I
WENT AND GOT THE 22' TIRES AND IT FIT PERFECT. SO THE RIM IS 22'
ANY MORE QUESTIONS JUST ASK..

eh..the rim isnt 22' the tire is...

 

hey man my manual says the factory tires sizes are as follows:

front 21x7.00-10 (x2)
rear 22x11.00-9 (x2)

that tells me the wheels should be: front- 7 x 10 and rear- 9 x 11

this is out of my manual for a 1986-1987 Suzuki LT230S, the models are all pretty much the same from 1985-1988 hope this helps.

if you are buying a new wheel you can't just go by the rim size you have to have the hub demensions also
