Default UNI vs K&N

ive been running a UNI filter on my Zilla without the airbox lid and it seems to be doing its job while keeping my power up at the same time

Default UNI vs K&N

I was going to buy a K&N for my z, but I heard that the foam filters will repel more water and if a K&N gets wet it will desroy it. Most of my riding consists of trails and sometimes you've got to cross water. Although, I just heard they've now made it illegal to cross water on an atv in NH. Stupid a$$ tree huggers. I know everything is oil tight on my quad, and if it wasn't I certainly wouldn't risk blowing my motor by crossing.

i have a uni with no air box now! i had k&n , if you go k&n spend the money and get the pro-flow clamp on. the 1 i had on my kfx just never felt tight and i did find dirt and sand in the air hose. ive had k&n on everthing ive ever owened!!! just get a clamp on!!! i have the uni now and i'll probably buy 1 or 2 more so i'll always have a clean 1.
