Default Should I polish my Zilla Intake and Exhaust?

I was wondering if anybody may have some knowledge on polishing a Zilla intake and exhaust. I dont want to even try and port it myself, I aint that stupid, but i was thinking of maybe polishing them up. Is this gonna be worth it , should I even do it or will I be waisting my time?

Porting on a two stroke is more about altering the port timing, much like changing a camshaft in a four stroke. Typically you'll see no gains by polishing the intake side, but if you remove casting flash it may help a little, all you need for a finish is a 120 grit cartridge roll on the intake. You "may" realize something by polishing the exhaust as it helps prevent carbon buildup, but I doubt it would be noticeable enough for the trouble.

A dremmel does not have the reach or power to do a good job with port work.
I wouldn't waste my time just removing casting flash and cleaning things up. These motors are extremely detuned and choked up. There is some port work that will make them come alive, however this should be left up to the folks that really understand whats going on.
It can be learned however, There are several books out there that divulge into 2 stroke theory and do a good job with the description of port timing, pipe effect, etc, etc.
These concepts should be fully understood before one can even begin to discuss the changes that need to be made to port dimensions.

A fellow by the name of Dr. Q shares some pretty darn good porting specs on MacDizzys website, but you still need to know and understand what he's talking about before you can proceed.
You could also contact him and just have him port your cylinder... then you'll know its done right.
