wel hello all this im new to the forum

just had a few questions and wanted to get some feedback

i have a z400 and i am having trouble with the damn 450s

should i go up to a 440 kit or the yoshi kit

i have a few mods but seems like not enough

should i dump money into this or get a 450

any replies would help out alot

 

It all depends how you ride. For example if your going to be racing a lot and want a pure race machine then get a 450 but if you want a quad that could ride trails, tracks or dunes then just beef up your 400 becuase it has the handy reverse feature and it is a great all around quad. Those are just my $.02 i hope this helps.

 

If money is no object, build it to a 440. Otherwise, you're expecting to much from the Z. It's not even in the same league as the race quads & wasn't intended to be either. It's meant to be a respectfully powerfull sport/trail quad, not a drag racer or MXer (which I presume is where you mean the 450s are giving you fits) Besides, drag racing quads is next to pointless in my opinion. Any dope can drive fast in a straight line. Take 'em to the woods & trails and see who's laughing when reverse is needed & sheer horsepower isn't.

i say if your going to race buy a 450.trail riding i say buy put the money in the suspenion first .you can only go as fast as the suspenion will let you.

 

My z 400 keeps up with 450s if you belive it or not and i am always in the top 5, also my motor is all stock and yes the guys riding the 450s can ride very well too if you dont belive me go to http://www.virginiasportspark.com/Re...ay07-16-05.htm i placed 3rd

so you are racing in d13 is it all 450s or are there a lot of 400s too my bike is stock except for the full pipe and jet im looking to start riding mx i kinda need some feedback on how to go about getting started i live in richmond and i am having trouble finding some mx style riding places or any riding places for that matter if you can help me out on any of this stuff id appreciate it alot
