Ya, theyre good quads, and theyre fun to drive. But thats a bit high. I had a 03, that was just like new, and i only got 2000, and that was a year ago.
Two wheel drive atvs, really depreicate fast. But the good news is, about 1500 bucks is as low as they will get, even 10 years from now,
If its really nice, id offer no more than 1800. Like was said, you can have a new 05, with a warrentee, and no hours, for around 3100.

I believe the 02's had the frame cracking problem that was fixed in the 03 models. You might want to check for this.
I wish I could have found our Ozark's for $3100! We bought two last year and shopped around at several places and the best we could do was $3500 before tax and license. I guess prices vary in different parts of the country.

If you buy at this time of year, they are eager to unload whats on the floor, to make way for next years models. Im sure they can be had new for even less.
Sounds like a real nice quad...less than 100 miles. Too bad theres no way to verify that...theres no hour meter, and no odometer.
If its been sitting, and sounds like it has, then the carb could be gummed up, and the battery will probably be on its last legs.
Its not your fault it sat around unused, and sad to say, no matter how many miles are on it, its still only a 2000 or less quad. Thats what the marketplace is paying. You could ask a suzuki dealer what they would pay for it...chances are they either dont want it (because its very hard to sell a 2wd used quad), or they will give about 1400 bucks on a tradein.
