I put the warn bumper on my 2005 vinson and the winch plate mounts in the original position.

does it mount to the new bumper, the reason im asking is the factory bumper thats on it now is bent and my winch is setting crooked because it mounts to the bumper. is the warn bumper sold as a whole assembly from top to bottom where it bolts to the frame.

It mounts to the factory frame. I have also bent the cheap tubing behind the black plastic and need to replace it, cost 177.00. My machine is in the shop now getting the front gears and casing replaced under warranty. I was riding approx. 5-10 mph and something broke inside the chunk causing the front end to lock up which made the machine stand on end. Lucky I was going slow. Still like the machine though.

I have the Warn bumper and trail lights on my Vinson. They were very easy to install. The bumper attaches to the frame and sits above the winch area. It should not affect your winch plate at all. You can find them on Ebay for a pretty reasonable price.

As for the front frame. I bent mine the first trip out with my Vinson. I slid very slowly into a tree and it bent. A few more tree hits and I had to replace the whole thing. I bought a used one off of Ebay and was back and running for about $70. I couldn't find used plastic grille and had to buy that new for about $50. So far the Warn bumper is holding up well. I've not had any major tree hits with it yet. It looks great and I like having the extra lights for night riding.

i thought about having that whole front bumper remade with heavier steel but if i do that the frame itself would proly bend instead of the bumper. so ill proly just do like you did and buy the front assembly and get the warn bumper to go over it. if i would of pulled myself out with the winch instead of letting someone ****** me out it woulnt have bent in the first place. thats what i get huh

check out the latest Rocky Mountain ATV/MC catalogue. They have a replacement metal grille/bash plate for about the dame as the OEM plastic grille. Unfortynately, they don't have it on their web site.
