Default PRI?

I've got an 00 Quadmaster. Until now, i assumed there were 2 fuel selections, On and Reserve. I got to looking today and there is another selection labeled PRI. I never knew it was there and obviously haven't needed it, so what the heck does it do??? Thanks!

That stands for Prime. In that position fuel is free flowing all the time.

what situations would this be beneficial? I'm assuming it gets gas straight to the carb, sort of like pushing the priming bubble-thing on chainsaws or small lawn mowers.

its great for when the quad hasn't been started in awhile, turn it to prime for a little bit and
it makes it easier to start
