King Quad "Future"
#11
I have just over 700kms on my KQ now and find it awesome on fuel. To compare it with my 02 Eiger:
02 Eiger
379CC
18L tank
average range before needing to fill up: 120KM
05 King Quad
689CC (I think)
17L tank
average range before needing to fill up: 150KM
All while riding the same trails in the same style. My buddy's who are riding the 05 Bomb 400 single and 2up are gassing up almost twice as ofter as I do. I stopped taking my 18L front rack gas tank with me, just bring along my little 10L jerry can on the back bumper and I am doing almost 200km a day. That is when the wife let's me out to play

I have around 1400 miles on my 05 King Quad and I get between 22 to 24 mpg. The EFI is outstanding. I'm a big guy at 265 6'2" and I ride this machine hard. Go with the 700. It will be the last machine you'll ever need. This machine is a cross between a sport and utility machine. It's really created a new class of sport utility machines. It really is allot of fun to ride. I always have a hard time heading back to the trailhead when riding this magic carpet ride.

I have never figured out my exact milage, but EVERY other machine I ride with runs dry before my KQ. I carry extra fuel for overnight trips but rarely need it. The EFI is vastly superior to all my buddies carburated bikes! The KQ weight is nominal for a high displacement machine so you get 500 class handling and ease with the bonus of Big ***** performance. I love my KQ!
