Let me make a guess on what happened.

Aftermarket cams and chip(rev box)
Old worn valve springs

Ran the motor hard and hit high rpms. The valves floated since the springs couldn't keep the valves intact with the contour of the cam at that high of an rpm. Mr valve and Mr piston became very intimate. Since Mr piston is so much bigger he bullied Mr valve's head right off. After it bounced around and chewed up the piston, head , and other vavles the engine was done.

If you wanna play you gotta pay.

I hope you don't believe the drz valve springs were the right choice for the application.

I don't need to. As long as you had proper p-v clearance, there would be little else that would have to be known.

all clearances were good and there was no signs of valve floating

Interesting how you conveniently left out the fact that it was a modified motor in your original post. When you leave out valuable information its tough for other to make good decisions. Heres a good example:

Johnny comes home from school one day and joyfully tells his dad that he has the biggest **** in 8th grade. His dad looks at him and shakes his head saying " I hope so, your 19 years old"
