Default yoshi z450 kit?

Hi,

I was wondering if any of you are able to give me some info on the yoshi z450 kit. I dont have all the money yet but im workin on it and seriously considering this as an alternative as i want to have a 450 with reverse I can assemble it all myself. What is the diff between the assembled core and non-assembled core that makes it cost so much? core as referring to? Question is what does it all encompass as yoshimura's site does not offer much info: ex. cams, cdi, gaskets, piston, crank, etc. I want to avoid shipping/taking my engine anywhere for porting unless the kit includes porting and boring where i just have to ship it to yoshi or something or if it comes with a new "block" so no need to bore. Thanks, also do I have to run a race fuel mix or compression is still under 13:1? thanks a lot

THe standerd Yoshi 450 kit will cost about 800.00 it is a very very werthykit or you can pay 1450.00 and just send it to them they will do all the work for you. JUst call them up tommorow and ask them what they have to offer. the kit does not include the port and polish or cams or exhaust or carb or cdi...??? Like i said call them up and see what they say. I can tell you from esperience that the kit is worth every penny. If you want more info on go to z400 -central forum. Lots of info regarding the Z-400 and many big bore kits.

Rode a Yoshi 450 at St Anthony dunes this summer, with Hotcams, no porting, adjustable razzu ignition module, I believe an FCR carb, yadda yadda. Sucker was FAST. Beat my YFZ. this bike had a ton of moola into it though, so I would say make sure that's what you want because you'll be buried in it by the time you address all items needed for the package.
