Thanks for that chart, i think i will start off by droping 1 tooth up front , a primary drive unit, thats the only one i have found, renthal had stock or plus 1 but no -1, is the primary drive a good sproket? found it for 6.99

i have the primary drive sprocket, it works fine. 1 tooth down will help out alot. i ride alot of trails and sand. felt a big diff on sand and all i got to say about the trails is becareful. felt like alot more torq!! helped on the hills but will bring that front end up pretty fast. good luck and have fun!!

I run a 13T front with 18" Rears and still hit almost 80, although 1st gear is pretty useless to me.
According to the calculator above, you would need to turn 11.5K RPM in 5th to reach 79MPH with 13/40 gearing and 18" rear tires.

when you replace the front sprocket the two bolts that go into it do not go into anything behind it. how is the sproket held on?
i just put mine on last night it was simple but i cant figure out what the two bolts do? also the stock washer does not fit with the
smaller sproket? do i need to find a aftermarket washer? primary drive did not include one. thanks

The sprocket goes on with the splines just past the groove in the shaft. Then the washer with the teeth slides on and you turn it to line up with the holes in the sprocket. The teeth of the washer travel along the groove and then stop behind the outer section of the splines, holding the sprocket on. Then the bolts hold the washer to the sprocket.
