I heard a bunch of people saying that the new 450 was suposed to have an lt250r looking front end plastic set,and now that i have finaly seen it,its got the same old trendy space ship fenders as all the other quads out there. Im not wanting to live in the past,but i was hoping for something more original looking.

 

yeah, i feel the same way. the performance better be what its all hiped up to be, thats all i gotta say. but you know when it comes out therll be a **** load of aftermarket parts.

 

yeah,my first reaction was kind of harsh,but i absolutely hate the fenders and the headlight,i really cant stand the whole headlight built into the front fender thing,like so many quads do.Ii like the lt and banshee style headlights,it looks a lot more sporty. depending on price and how first reactions are i might by one in a year or so after the first year bugs are gone.

 

Look closely at the headlight, It looks like it is in a diffrent piece of plastic, Might be easily removeable for racing

 

just cut the fenders to your liking

 

I'll wait till I see it in person before I comment on it. pictures seem to make it look funny sometimes

 

It realy doesnt look that bad,i just heard that the front end was very similar to the old lt250r,and the old lt's are my favorite looking quads,so i was really dissapointed when i found out it wasnt true.

 

I agree the pics make it look very cookie cutter, but if it shines on the engine and suspension I don't really care.

 

Sry i haent been following this topic for a while so im a bit lost. Where did u guys get pics of the 450?
