How fast does this dirtbike go? Is it suitable for my son? He is 12 years old, 4' 9' tall, and weighs 125 lbs. He has little expereince with clutches and has only been riding an automatic 90cc Predator. If not, how would a DRZ 110 dirtbike do?

you mean to say this dirtbike is for you right? Its about the right size. topspeed maybe 40-45mph. You should look at changing your sig LOL. I mean half the stuff you say is redundant. Like High octane race fuel...race fuel is high octane period. (high) tall gearing for higher top speed, what else could possibly result from taller gearing.

well i rode an 04 or 05 drz 125 and the clutch was really easy to use. i have an LTZ 250 (quad) with a slip on pipe and when i raced the drz it would out excellerate me but not by much, and when we hit 5th gear my 250 starts to pull away. my 250 supposedly goes 45-55. so the 125 will be close to that. id say go with the 125, your son will prolly get used to it qiuckly and if you get the 110 he might outgrow it too fast. it is good to learn how to use a clutch too.

nice supra and 450 btw.

Leave the dang topic alone..........either answer the question on hand, or dont..........It is turning out to be people like you that are making him look bad.........not himself...................Who cares about his family situation........He asked a good question, and deserves a good opinion..........

That would be a decent choice for a 12 year old, if you teach him correctly.......let him know if he dosent keep his head on straight, he will be on his butt in a hurry!!!!
