I know where you coming from, but I actually think carbs are pretty easy, and do their job etc.

Sure it would be great to have a fully electronic EFI set up that was fine tuneable (just like your c-dale) and you have the right hi priced software to be able to use it to its fullest potential too, but anything less than that and I would prefer the good ole keihin.

I have a friend with all the right software and all he does is hook up his leads to the c-dale and can then mess around with pretty much every part of the efi, and even though there is a lot of trial and error involved and its a learning curve too he still has so much more ability to set up his fuel delivery that its well worth the efforts.

So yea I am with you on EFI being the deal, but you have to have all the equipment to make it work right for you "all the time" and if not the boring old carbs do get the job done.

 

the 2007 yfz450 is going to be efi just wait for that .

 

You also have to remember that my Raptor has 2 carbs and they are a pain to fine tune and get in that perfect harmony.

 

I sacastically made an offer of sale. Sarcastic because, (A)You live half way down the east coast. (B)Although it was the same price I paid for it, you can find them for about $300-$500 cheaper (My chassis is in awesome shape so I was willing to pay more) So a dirt cheap deal would be about 1/3 of that.

I will probably hold on to my lt for a while longer, until I'm ready for next project on the z. I want to be able to have everything lined up first so I can spend the money immediately so the wife doesn't want to spend on bills or something stupid like that!

May will be after they already have it on the raptor, but lets check your track record how right were you on the lt-r450 how many times did you claim as FACT that it will be kickstart only. I'm waiting for blackbird to eat crow (how'd you like that).
