Default Stealth or Benz exhaust for King Quad?

Which exhaust noise reduction system should I install on my 05 KingQuad? I have read so many contradictory accounts, I have no idea what the truth is now.

Some claim there is NO reduction in performance and substantially less exhaust noise.

Others claim half of engine's power is lost and it only yields a negligible noise reduction.

What is the truth? Which system do you suggest? Benz or Stealth?

I need to make a purchase soon on this exhaust.

Please someone give me a little guidance.

Rumors would even be helpful at this point.

THANKS!

Hi elkhnt,

I did a lot of research on the internet before I ordered my Stealth exhaust. Most of the posts I read had them pretty equal in noise reduction, but the quality of the Stealth was slightly better. Plus, you can order a heat shield for the Stealth to keep from burning yourself.

Unfortunately, I had to send it back because it wouldn't fit my atv due to the Montana Jacks rear receiver (for my winch). When I mounted the winch in the back, there just wasn't a good place to put the exhaust. I couln't put it under the rack since it would be in the way of the rear mounted winch, and I couldn't put it below due to decrease in ground clearance.

The rear mounted winch was way more important to me than the exhaust....
