Default Drag race- z400 vs. KQ 700

I have a king quad and draged a kfx 400 with a aftermarket pipe in a field around 1000ft long and was alittle bumpy and I took him off the line and he was caching up until he got 15ft behind me and we stayed at the same speed which was around 58 because of all the bumps on the field. if the field was alittle flater he probly would pass me but it would be a closer race than you guys think it would be.

Bone stock 04 Prairie 700 vs bone stock 03 AC DVX400, both running stock tires. 300' sand drag, pro lights, exactly the same ET down to the thousandths. Not sure how that would compare to a KQ, but just trying to offer the info I have.

Two things, no traction for the DVX and no DVX in 03.

Stock rears on the dvx are the dunlop radials present on most stock atvs which hook up better than just about any bias ply dirt tire out there in the sand. The prairie was running stock dunlops which offer very little traction and it was run in 2wd for more speed at the end of the course.

As for 03, I was pretty sure there was, but in any case it appeared to be the crappy 03 chain adjustment from the 03 zuk. Since the 04 models are exactly the same engine wise I guess it really doesnt matter.

By the way Torbinx, that guy works at a Suzuki/Honda dealership in parts. He brought along the general manager and sales manager. The sales manager and general said they could've beat that price I got from troy city on mine. I told him someone on the forum was thinking about coming from canada to get an lt-r450 and 2 crf 450s. Isn't that what you wanted? Anyways that's when they told me they sell honda too. He said he'll beat whatever prices anybody else has.
hehe Thanks Sparky. NH is further than NY state...dam halfway around the world for a quad haha. Ya, Im definitly getting an ltr450 and only 1 dirtbike, crf will do but my bro doesnt like the 4speed mxers (RMZ450, SX450) and would rather have 5gears(crf450, yz450f), lol, but if he cant get 5, will suffice with 4. If you could somehow manage to get a price qoute whenever you have time that "beats" troy city like you mentioned that would be great but isnt it too early for dealerships to have there retail prices on the ltr450 aside from the $7299 msrp? fyi, I would look at going to pick them up feb/march as I would have to sell my z and a honda 350, prior to going down. I should find out some good motorsports dealers in montana, washington, colorado, oregon, idaho, north dakota and south dakota to see how they compare.

He said he should be getting the lt-r450 next month sometime. I'll pm you when I recieve word and pricing. LOL I didn't even pay attention to where in canada you were, I thought I'd seen Quebec and never looked again. A lot of people around here ride sleds in pittsburgh (NH) and ride back and forth to canada.

I wonder if I'd be able to ship them to you or if that would violate anything?

thats sweet...next month already. Knowing my dealers where I live I think the recieving date is March. Ya, a lot of ppl have sleds up here and thats cool that you guys can ride back n forth. Pricing asap would be great (gives me an idea of how often im gonna have to work to pay for that haha). As for shipping Im not sure on the whole logistics scheme of things but Id have to think about that and how the money would get to the dealer and how they would get shipped (I know shipping atvs aint cheap). Iideally I would pay cash but that would be sorta hard if I did not go to the actual location lol.
