I figure that the z400 is quicker, but in a 300ft race who get's there first, by how many quad lengths?

 

I own the 700 KQ and the Z-400 will DEFINATELY whip me thru the entire race,no question about this.

 

Okay that's what I thought, but by how much does it beat it, like is the Z twice as fast or like 50% faster.

 

um i dont know what planet your from but at my drag strip the piped kfx700s are like a couple - few lengths behind the piped 450s (many runs with at least 3 kfxs and 4 trx 450s and 1 yfz) so i think it would rock a z all the way through but maybe not until till the z is in upper 2nd gear then the kfx would definitely pass.

 

KQ= King Quad, not KFX 700.

 

omg my bad. cant read. all i really saw was z400 vs k?? 700. ya z400 would be ahead all the way except off the line till 2nd gear cause 4x4s get amazing hookup, go figure.

No no. I just rode with a guy on a kq 700 today. It may get a wheel length ahead with the right rider, but my z walks all over it. By the way Torbinx, that guy works at a Suzuki/Honda dealership in parts. He brought along the general manager and sales manager. The sales manager and general said they could've beat that price I got from troy city on mine. I told him someone on the forum was thinking about coming from canada to get an lt-r450 and 2 crf 450s. Isn't that what you wanted? Anyways that's when they told me they sell honda too. He said he'll beat whatever prices anybody else has.
