bent z400 tierod yay...
Hey,
Today, while my brothers and I were doing quad maintence I started by checking my oil. Little did I know you have to leave it run for abit then check it cause when I looked there was nothing on the dipstick so I freaked out and added 1/2 a liter, ran it, checked and it came pouring out. Anyways once that got cleaned up I noticed my front left tierod was bent and when straight on my tire would be pointing outwards by about 25 degrees. So I took it off and put it in the vise and straightened it...good as new. Just cant recall what would have done it cause I sometimes land a wheelie with turned wheels but Ill hit ruts and trees flying through the bush but its not like I fly off just sprain my wrist. When we were out 2 weeks ago I was in fifth pinned for about 7miles on a gravel road and my quad kept wanting to go left alittle, shouldve figured but luckily im allright. Just thought I would share that with you guys, now Im all good to go riding tommorow.
