Default Eiger Tires

I just put 26" MudLite XL's on my 03 Eiger. I put 26x10 on front and 26x12 on the back, on stock rims. Clearance is not a problem. I do notice a little bit of power loss (if I shift to soon). I havent tested top speed yet. I will say compared to stock Dunlops Night and Day difference. I had to use 4x4 for some simple muddy trails due to tire spin. Now it just grips in 2wd!

03 Eiger 4x4 5sp, 26" mudlites, winch, Uni filter, jet kit.

Eiger 1 just got a set of Pirelli Mudwisers. (really!!!) Hes been gushiing ever since. Stock sizes. 6-ply tire that looks like a mudlight. He does a lot of road riding and says the ride is "AWSOME,BABY!!" He's going places in 2wd that he couldn't go with his bald dunflops..

I love my M/Ls

I just bought 26" ITP 589s for mine. Should be here in a few days.... I'm stoked!

I'll be soooooooo glad to get rid of the crappy stock tires. I can't wait to see where I can go NOW. And I thought I was unstoppable before!

Since Oregon is a logging state, there are a lot of staubs and stumps that have sharp points, sometimes really hard to see in the leaf litter, and with 6 plys I should be virtually worry free.

I'm excited to see what the ol' Eiger will do in the snow now, too.

Aksafari, its good to read ya again! Where ya been??

589s?? WOW, Them are some HEAVY tires. My brother thinks their the greatest thing on earth on his 450 Foreman. They're earth magnets. I wanted a lil lighter tire.

You will love em. Hes got the 25s and there is no stopping him. It gets a lil scary at times, the places he can go. The hard rubber doesn't grab on slick rocks as well. But he plows every driveway on the street and he looks for more d-ways to do.

I think almost anything is better than stock. But the riding you describe, stumps, etc., are made to order for the 589s. I dont know if he has ever had a flat but if he did you prolly couldn't tell since they're so tough.

I just saw the new Mudlight radial at the ATV WOrlds Fair in L-ville, Ky and am leaning pretty strong to them. I only have about 2200 miles on my current 26"m/L and they look to be good for another 1500 miles at least. I've had several flats but I just plug-n-go (extra knobbies?).
