go to http://www.troycitygarage.com/atvs.htm, just add $200 for the OTD price. I'm thinking about an Eiger myself, what kind of shifter does the 5sp have? can you shift with a heavy winter boot on?

I ride mine like it's stolen and on fire, and it's never failed me once ('cept for the time I went though water over the front rack for about 10 feet and got some water in the carb). I paid $5000 for mine back in '04 for my '04.
I'm putting 26" ITP 589s on it in the next week or so and expect it to get even more amazing. Even the guy that I ride with that has an '05 Grizzly 660 can't go some of the places I go. Maybe he's a pansy, or maybe I'm just crazy, but he does have a hard time navigating through the woods with me.
I'm in love with my Eiger, but when I buy my wife a quad it'll be the King Quad for the simple reasons that it doesn't have a choke, is an automatic, and has a cushier ride so she won't complain.

i bought my 05 in june when suzuki was giving a 2 year warrenty and a shop manual for 4750 otd. i have 150 miles on it and like every thing about it except the buzzing noise that gets louder as i shift up. sounds like fender rubbing on the tire lugs. do all 5 speeds have this buzzing noise?

I bought an '05 automatic in august...otd it was 5700.00
Im thinkin' I got hosed....
I have 250 miles on it, and keeps right up with the best of them...
I am soo pleased with the eiger.....no regrets here....except I should have tried to talk 'em down a little more on the price.

Quadraider20,
Do not feel like you got hosed. You might have been able to save a few bucks with better hard line negotiation but these ATV's, like cars and trucks, are very price sensitive geographically. West Coast states will always pay more because the perception everybody has is we have wads of money. You get into a far removed little suburb citiy in Wyoming, Kansas and so on and they cannot sell them for that much. People will never buy.

I bought mine for 4699 in very late in 04, that was taking advantage of the end of year Suzuki Incentive. OTD was 5299 with Warn 3.0 Winch and Warn Plow. But again the incentive sale pitch at the time was buy the Eiger and get a Plow for free with purchase of 2.0 winch or larger.

But I sure like my Eiger no matter what I paid.

They actually wanted 6000.00 otd....I did manage to talk 'em down 300.00, by playin' two dealers against each other.... But I thought I could have done better...
I also got the warn winch for 69.00 installed.
I also felt alot better after a buddy of mine (who drives a beat up Kia) blew 8000.00 on a bombardier outlander 400...

Btw, What do you need a plow for in central calif??
Just cuirous....ya dont get much snow there, like here in nevada...

Quadraider20,
Well, I list Central Calif but I actually live up near Shaver Lake. Elevation is around 5800-6000 ft. I use the quad primarily for plowing and dragging the property. I do not ever seem to find the time to go out and just use it as the ATV.

PD,
That area is beutiful!!! I would be ridin' everywhere!!
If I lived there or just for the winter...I would have gotten the plow too.
Here in dayton...we only get about 3" and the next day it's gone...

Quadraidr20,
Yes the area is awesome. Sadly I never can find enough time to just go ride. The area is loaded with riding trails and gets alot of fun snow to ride on. I only have 35 miles total on my quad. 25 or so has been work around the property plowing, leveling property and pulling debris up from the hill sides. I know I know...I need to find some riding buddy's Just have not yet.
