Default Suzuki Eiger 400

Eiger1 just bought an 05 auto for 5500 out the door. Less than he paid in 02 when he bought his first Eiger.

This is the BEST quad for the money. I've had guys pull up and tell me "I could ride like that if I had a 650 too!" Then I tell em that their 450 forskin is bigger than my 376 Eiger.

I thought an auto was for girls, then I got this one for my wife. Now I don't know why they aint all auto. No wondering what gear yer in when you descend a hill and hit a creek and blast out the other side. No up or down shifting on steep hills. (I've modded up my clutches to keep the RPMs in the perfect spot in all conditions.)

There is a dealer here in the berg who is selling 650 brute forces for 6000 OTD with a winch if you belong to our club, the Quad Abusers. Several of the local dealers will give discounts if you are a member, but not knocking off $600. We just started our club to find more riding opportunities and riders to share em with. You can check out the Quad Abusers right HERE.

Intersting. I bought a 2002 Eiger shifter and my brake light stuck on also. So I just disconnected the brake light wire, and used only the running light. Next year, it would blow a fuse whenever I used the electric starter. Ended up being the stop light switch itself. Just disconnested it, still no brake light switch using the rear brakes. Just a heads up if ya start blowing fuses.

My brake light kept sticking on too. The pull switch on the footbrake kept gumming up and sticking. I took it off. Now I still have brake lites with the hand levers.

Brake lites are pretty handy when riding with a crowd.

My bulb blew and now my brake light stays on as well...

So i disconnected it....Where is the switch on the foot pedel?
I wouldnt mind just having lights when i use the hand brakes....

Bought my 05 Eiger Auto about 4 wks. ago and really love it. Listened to what other Eiger drivers were saying and it surpassed my expectations. OTD for 52. Took it to the mountains near W.Va. and put 35 miles on it in one day. Ran great. Lots of torque and very comfortable.
Ran it slow as part of the break in but I could tell it was a nice machine. Hope I haven't jinxed myself.

kneel down by the brake pedal and watch when you press it down. you'll see a small wire (spring) running to a tube with wires sticking out the top, this is the switch. the plunger sometimes sticks and wont go all the way back in, this keeps the light on.

Get a service manual. All diagrams are in it. You'd be surprised when you see how much wiring is on there that goes to nothing. This is how I found how to wire up a back-up light.
