Quadracer 250 prices?
#3
well, when I bought mine, it was in good physical shape, and the owner thought the motor was a walking time bomb. So I picked mine up for 1700, with all kinds of extra tires, shocks, wheels, and all the original parts. Thank god the metal in the oil was only the exhaust valve bar. I would expect to pay 2000 to 2500 for a good machine with some mods.

I bought mine for $1,225. It has an fmf pipe rear holeshot tires fast trekker front tires and is bored about 30 over. The only major problem is that it has no rear brakes. I guess you could say that I got a pretty good deal on it.

I bought my '92 for $2800...I know you can buy them cheaper, but it was most important to me to buy a racer that hasn't been abused. This bike was a stock one owner with obviously less than 100 hrs. It's still running the stock tires and original top end, with perfect suspension response. If you find a machine that was built for racing and it's still in it's stock, like new form, you know that it hasn't been ridden much. I've added the pipe/silencer and will have it ported soon, along with it's first top end. Everytime I ride with a new 400EX, and totally blow him away on the straights and hang with him through the corners, I realize how great of a deal I got.
