Anyone else having this problem both my stock black plastic heel guards are broken from my boot going through them when landing my quad. Anyone know how to fix this. Suzuki sells aluminum heel guards but there like $250.00 (canadian). I was thinking about trying to bend some of aluminum diamond plate or something?

 

Only thing I can think of is nerf bars.

 

Yep, most of the aftermarket aluminum heel guards are way overpriced. You can find some for around $140, but that 's still high. Check ebay for used ones, or contact Bare Performance to see if they are going to start making theirs again (aluminum guards for $55). You're probably better off just getting the brake out and making your own.

Here's a pic of the Bare Performance guards. Something similar would be fairly easy to make. Or you could pony up and get a set of nerfs with built in heel guards.

 

Ok thanks for the info guys i have nerfs but they don't have anything behind the pegs. I will try making my own though.
