I have been hearing lately that the new z450s have been having problems with the motor like the Cams are breaking apart and the case is exploding, causing suzuki to temporarly stop production is this true or just a rumor.

 

hmmm, very intersting i havent heard anything about it yet so we will have wait and see

 

Wouldn't they have to be in the hands of the public to have such problems? Or are you saying they are still finishing R&D despite announcing the existence of the bike?

 

The shop I deal with told me the other night all the testing on the 450's has been great and they even got to ride a couple demo's at a recent trade show or something. Pretty much all a dealership is about is the making of money.

So it wouldn't surprise me if something did go wrong and then lie about it just so they can keep their sales up.

As far as I know the bikes havn't even hit the show rooms yet.

Unless maybe they've gotten them sooner in other areas than where I live. My dealer isn't even supposed to see one until mid to late January.

 

I would think it has to be a rumour since the public can't even buy them yet.
