Default Yosh pipe sighting on a King Quad...

In the latest ATV Rider magizine on page 82 or 85, can't remember, they did a test on the Mud Lite Radials mounted on a red KQ which had a Yosh pipe on it. It did not have the factory heat shield on it but the Yosh pipe had it's own smaller heat shield on the mid section of the pipe all the way up to the silencer but not shielding the silencer itself, the heat shield had Yosh's emblem in Japanese, silencer was triangular like their sport quad models and was titanium in color, great looking unit indeed, just thought I'd share. Can't wait!

So they're available now? From where did your buddy order his? Full system or slip on?

I read you can order them right off the Yosh website. Think Ill wait for the module and get the combo.

The Yoshi pipe retains the large stock rear muffler shield and adds a new one for the mid pipe. And yes, it is the stainless triangular shaped can even though that is not what is stated in the ads for the King Quad. It is very nice, probably the best aftermarket pipe I have ever seen as far as fit and finish. It is even rubber mounted like the stocker and comes with an insert and spark arrestor that has a db rating of about 96. There is also available a low volume insert that will drop that down to 93 or 94 I believe. You can see a picture of it mounted over on Nyroc's site.

They have been available for a few months. You can purchase one through any dealer that sells Yoshi online or through your local dealer that sells Tucker Rocky or Parts Unlimited stuff. The list is about $349.95 . Can be had for about $300 shipped.

I work with him, and don't see him till monday again, and I have no idea what he ordered, but I'm sure he said he ordered a Yoshimura. Not sure if its the entire system or not. he's got a catalog he orders everythig from.

The Yoshi setup is a slip on, not a full system. Full systems are few and far between for Utes.

I'm not sure about your buddy having a Yoshimura pipe. I just emailed Yoshimura Technical about the King Quad exhaust and their reply was that it would not even be available till about the 2cd week of January 2006... They also told me that a King Quad specific EMS unit will be available around the first of Feb. 2006.

The pipe has been out for months. As I said above, there is a picture over on Nyrocs site. I have personally had mine since October.
