Those of you who have the King Quad.....

What kinda average mileage are you getting out of a full tank of gas?

or... how far can I go on a full tank?

I've been getting over 100 miles on a tank but that is riding wide open fire roads and such, tighter trails yield slightly worse mileage.

On our Paiute Trail ride (Utah) this past summer the three King Quads in our group were making it to the 100 mile mark before they decided to dump in more fuel. I was only getting about 65 miles on my Brute Force 750 (that was after my low fuel light was on for the last 10 miles or so). There was also a 700 Prairie which got about the same mileage I did. We all carried 3.2 gallon flat fuel packs with us to extend our off-road capabilities (or in my case just to match the distance the King Quads could go!). On one day (that I knew would be a long one) I carried two fuel packs just to be safe...

We did the Paiute trail this year with sport quads, but next year will be with my King Quad.
UPS delivered the 3.2 gal. fuel pack yesterday! I like having no gas worries on a long ride.

Thanks to everyone who has replied.
