i have an 03 with 470 kit,edelbrock carb,trinity stage4 exaust,and all ignition upgrades.put a new battery in it and just will not start it i need to jump it from a car or with a charger.would putting a higher amp battery solve this problem?any suggestion would be great thanks,insaneZ

 

Too much compression and the starter cannot turn the motor over without a little extra power from the car/battery charger. Try getting a battery with more cold cranking amps and see what happens.

Also, check your grounds on the bike. I had the same problem and it was a really loose ground. Also, getting a battery with more cold cranking amps as said above, never hurts.

Also, you might check your fuse as well.

 

Is there a decompression setup on the cam that maybe isnt working properly?

 

you know i thought that mabey the timing jumped but i will surelly check that out,thanks
