Yoshi or power commander?
#1
I just bought a new power commander for my 700 King! I could not find out anything about the Yoshi box from the dealer that I bought my bike at! They pushed the power comander! I cut all ties after waiting five weeks to get the tie rod recall done and two many lies to go into! I found a different dealer to do the recall and to spend my money with! They said they had not put many of the power commanders on atvs and were not able to tell me much about add ons to my bike! They are a new Suzuki dealer! They have a grat mechanic that worked at the Suzuki dealer that they bought out! He was great but wasn't realy talkative! I cannot tell any differance after the power commander was installed! Still have the lag? Any suggestions? Thanks!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the Power Commander will do nothing for the lag, it can only add fuel to the factory fuel mapping and you will only notice a difference if you take the snorkle out of the airbox and install a free flowing slip on exhaust. To fix the low end lag you will need the Yoshimuira CDI box that is coming out after the first of the year, it will cure the lag which is in the ignition, not the fuel mapping. The Yosh box will also contain different fuel mapping for exhaust/intake mods so all you really need is the Yosh box. Sorry man....

We still dont know for sure that you will not be able to use your power commander with the Yosh ecm.
Its sucks how every smart *** 13 year old to ever ride an atv is on this forum. Too bad their parents computer doesnt have better parental controls.

Thanks! I am new to this site form thing! Many replys from little jerks like that and it would be better to go to the dealership and listen to the 12 year olds behind the counter!

I would hold off on the pipe purchase until the Yoshi box comes out. In the mean time get the Twinair, take out the baffle in the airbox, remove the spark arrestor(place a small peice of screen over hole to please forest rangers), then readjust PC. If you want even more air in, put a small spacer under lid of the Twinair so a small gap will allow more flow thru the top of the filter.
I also recommened a clutch kit. The Dalton is easyer, less money, and the EPI adds the interal springs for a little more punch in the bottom end.
