I,m thinking about getting the Interco Swamplites for my vinson. The stock tires are 25x8x12 front and 25x10x12 rear. My question is will 26x10x12 fit the factory alum front and rear wheels?

The "12" in the dimensions, is the diameter of rims (where the bead of the tire mounts). The tires WILL fit, but will have a slightly larger overall height.

 

IdahoVinnie, I realize the first number (25 or 26) is supposed to be the tire diameter, the second number (8 or 10) is the rim width, and the last number (12) is the rim diameter. My question is how well will the 10" wide tire fit on the 8" wide factory rim? Also, has anyone else tried this, or do I just need to get the tire/wheel package. I would really like to use the factory wheels.

They will fit. I have 28/12/12 on the rear and 28/10/12 Gators on the front with stock rims. My buddy has the same size mudlites on his stockers.

 

Dazeys, a buddy of mine has the Gators on his AC and they look good. Now I guess I will try and find the 26x10x12 front and the 26x10x12 rear Swamplites for my 05 Vinson to make it a match set. I hope the front tires dont look too much different from rears once I get them mounted.

I just mounted 27" Swamp Lites (12" wide rear and 10" wide front) on my 2003 Vinson on the stock rims. The front left one rubs slightly on the floorboard forward frame tubing when turning left. 26" should fit fine. They make a big rooster tail in the sand without even spinning. They throw alot of stones out the back too when cruising down gravel roads. I wish I could find some mud or snow here in Arizona to test them out. I got my set off of E-Bay for $326 including shipping. There is a picture of mine on my pic page.
