thinking about hot cams. should i go stage 1 or 2. is both cams on stage one worth the money? it says it gives you more mid to top end power. i'm also still thinking about the athens kit. thanks!

 

ive got the athena kit with both cams and a fcr 41 carb all i can say is its worth every penney i love mine

 

The athena kit seems to make a lot of people very happy. This is the kit I will buy if/when I go with a big bore.

Almost everyone I hear of that gets stage 1 hotcams wish they would have wnet with the stage 2.

I had a pipe and air filter with no lid. I installed both hotcams and the DRZe base gasket (bumps comp. up 1 pt.). There was a very nice gain in power. Mostly 3/4 throttle and up, low end didnt seem to be effected.

Best price I found on hotcams is from woodwardspecialties.com ~$240 for both.
