85 to 88 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport help.
I'm picking up an '87 LT 230 on Sunday that I'm getting super cheap. No spark, owner says it ran fine with good compression until it just stopped one day. Tested a new plug, still no spark. I'm hoping it's a fairly simple fix. Since I'm not familiar with these quads much, is there a particular culprit that is likely the cause? Thanks.

Blown motor?
I was riding my 86 lt230s and it stalled so I thought it was out of gas, when I went to fill it I realised there was still plenty of gas in the tank. So I tried to start it but when I kicked the Kickstarter it did nothing. It felt like I was kicking it with the sparkplug out. Pushed it in the garage, took the plug out and put my finger over the hole and felt as much pressure as it had before this happened. So it does have compression. I just adjusted the valves the day before because when I bought it it would not start with the Kickstarter but after adjustment started second kick. But the intake valve chattered a little but I didn't think anything of it, could I have blown a valve?
Hey guys, been awhile since I was on here but I have a big question. Why is it that 2 stroke big bore kits are much bigger than 4 stroke ones? Example: biggest 230 kits are 260 or 273 and lets just say a blaster 200 that have kits of 240, 265 or even 280. Is there a reason 4 strokes can't be that big?
