You sure know how to dig stuff up! That 21-0885 K & S Switch gave me an idea. Mine is just like that, only the labels on the button are different. So, what used to be my kill switch will now turn on my lights. My old 2-position light switch will be a high low beam selector. And my starter button will become my kill button. Thanks mjlar! Happy to hear you got everything figured out too! What are you going to work on next?
...I'm glad I left everything hanging for a couple of days so I could think about it. I thought it was laziness, but maybe it was prudence....

Btw, the Klaws weigh between 15 and 16 lbs in the 20x11-9 size. My old Dunlop KT775B 22x10-9 weighed between 13 and 14 lbs. So, I'm gaining 2 lbs per tire, but losing 1 inch of leverage that weight has against my acceleration. Maybe it will work out for the best (I hope).

Last post of the night after digging. This is for you guys.
Randy, dude, if mine looked as nice with friggin rims, i wouldnt just use any switch.
I redid the diagram to the K & S 12-0050 switch hell yeah push-button kill!
It will look so much cleaner when its done! For some reason my throttle doesn't have the switch on it so I dont know what the hell model I have or who rigged it up.
After having a 1975 DT250 you really learn how to dig everything up... 5 years later, its done but I'm still not patient enough to finish the damn headlight assembly..lol
Here everyone! Ditch the ghetto switch-throttle!

Wow! That new stator made a world of difference. The spark is huge now with barely a kick. It also messed up my jetting. I haven't had it out of the garage yet, but I can still tell I will need to do some carb work. I never would have thought it.... From the way things look as of now, it appears that the bigger your spark the bigger your jets. I'll know more later when I can actually ride it.

Yeah, I just discovered my air filter... if thats what it is.. you get the idea. I got a 2 stage uni and prefilter coming from dennis kirk, we'll see if she fouls plugs @ idle anymore

I found the front polished aluminum ITP .190 rims on Dennis kirk. I just took the rear wheels off and found out I have the steel ITP rims (that were installed backwards). I think they're +1 (all of them are.. right?).
So where do I find the rear ITP .190 rims, and would anyone be interested in the steel itp rims if I did find them.

Curious if you think a 17.5 Pilot will do the trick now if your idle is lean?
