Seems to me the biggest problem that would cause the 250r a-arms to not work would be where they would fit into the mounts, 1/2 inch wider then our frame mounts. [img][/img]</end quote></div>

That's easy to fix. Just cut 1/2 off and use 230 bearings.

Wow, just read my post earlier?? Guess the moral of the story is, don't post 2 hours after you have had shoulder surgery!!!!!![img][/img]

I NEVER had a warrior, don't even know anyone that has........ Must have been thinkin of my friends old Kawi's that he was forever working on. Figured if a true mechanic says they are crap, I should avoid them.

Sorry guys, I'll try again when I'm more lucid...</end quote></div>

More surgery???

I dont know much about the warrior,,, but they made it forever and I assume they got the bugs out eventually.

Seems like a lot of guys I talk to "graduated" from the 230 to a warrior a long time ago. Vince was one.... The only bad thing he had to say about it was that its too long and doesnt handle as well as the 230.

It is a decent carb! But I have one already and really need something bigger for a 300 lakota and a 400 kodiak. Those CV carbs are junk!

Anybody have a 32mm that is NOT cv laying around?

What kind of knee surgery you having? Knee replacement??? I know a guy that had knee surgery and 1 week later he was carrying camping supplies arcoss a huge field of deep snow with me. I'm not sure what they did to him, but I know he was hurting pretty bad before the surgery. Never had a problem after.

While I was at the local dealer getting some 4stroke oil, I had brought my measuring tape and saw they had a 2001 Honda 400EX so I got to measuring.
both bottom and top from outside bearing to outside bearing was 9 1/2". Where the A-arm mounts to the frame was 1 1/2" on top and bottom as well. Looked like the 250R stock A-arm and the stock 400EX are about the same from the middle of the bearing to the balljoint measurement. Of course the Honda had a 16. 1/4" shock.

So, what do you think you are going to do? You think it would be easier to find 400 arms or old 250 arms used?
