The wire that would ordinarily go to the kill switch (yellow I think it is...) can not touch ground or no spark. Did you do any work to the magneto? Spark plug any good???? Never know....

I am an idiot, as we all know....
I didn't have MOST of the damn wires hooked up!

If my knee wasn't still swollen, I bet I could kick her over now!

At least you found the problem.

I don't know what to tell you on your knee.... There's a couple of schools of thought on that. Usually, I just work thru an injury, but you didn't have an injury, you had an operation, so I don't know. I just know the last thing I want to do when I hurt my back is to stop working. Once I get a backache I can either lay in bed for a month or go back to work and in a few days the pain is gone. I have a buddy in OH that had minor knee surgery (I think they just clipped some cartilage off or something). A week later he was carrying coolers n camping gear thru a foot of snow across a big farming field with me. Never had anymore trouble out of his knee. I don't know what all they did to you though and I'd hate to dish out bad advice.

FULL RECONSTRUCTION..... I am with you on the work through it, been doing it my whole life, but this a whole nother thing! Don't want to screw this up. I am fortunate they would even do this surgery at my age (37), usually they won't even talk to you until yer 45+! And my understanding is you get ONE shot at it.. Mess it up.... And I am left with nothing below my knee!

That just goes to show you how dumb I am, still won't buy the goki starter!

I would still rather limp home than be carried out!

No, having legs is good thing. Don't want to screw that up! Better take it slow then and baby it. Even if that's not the best thing for it, at least the worst that will happen is you can still walk around.

I haven't seen anything to show how dumb you are... I remember scouring the internet for wire diagrams and half tearing a whole quad apart looking for a bad wire or something when the only problem was I had the kill switch off. Now that's dumb, lol. But to those that know me its comes as no surprise. Textbook stuff yes, common sense.... not so much.

Can you kick with your other leg? Or does it still bother the hurt one?

How's your daughter doing in karate? You never gave an update on that....

Can probably kick lefty, but don't want to try. It would make it easier to see the spark though!

Funny, common sense, I have buckets full, except when I am screwing with this dang bike! It kills me. My whole life, show me once, I get it, or will figure it out, with everything BUT a combustion engine!

I have never been so frustrated by a "thing", except females of course!

But, like females, for some reason, I wanna keep trying!

Hey, I just had a thought about oxygenating a pond. I was checking my newly welded up oil tank for leaks in a bath tub and was watching all the bubbles coming out n thought,,,, what about a big tank in the pond with a slow leak? Fill it up every now n then and let it leak out over a few days/weeks. I know it takes a long time for my air compressor to lose all its air pressure. You think that's an ok idea, or am I all screwed up? It would be like a big fish tank with the bubbles coming up.
