I actually noticed that blue hose too. So small, but it adds a ton! I've been looking for one of those vents with the caps where you don't need the long hose. But I just couldn't warrant spending $8 on one. Maybe someday.

Man, I'm anxious for this weekend. Cycle World show on Friday w/ my pops, fancy & expensive dinner w/ my beautiful girlfriend on Saturday, using a gift card my boss gave us for Christmas, then HOPEFULLY, getting that beater 230 from that guy, I hope I hope I hope!

Got enough coats of paint on yours for a pic yet Randy?

Oh and they guy is willing to give me the VIN so either it isn't stolen (or he has no knowledge of it being stolen) or he truly believes I want to know it just to see what year it is.

So that's a plus!

Sounds like things are going very well for you.

I haven't done anything to the plastic since saturday. I was hoping to get out there tonight. We'll see.

If you think $8 is high, guess you'd birth a cow if you saw the $70 ones I'm talking about. I found one for $30 on ebay and felt that was a deal. They don't have valves in them though... The valve is at the end of the hose. The cap should last forever and fits lots of different quads.

I never bothered to check on mine. I figured the condition it was in, if it was stolen, it was done as a favor.

First time it ran it filled the garage with thick smoke in 5 secs! I had to shut it off and just took it apart... Didn't even test ride it. All the chassis bearings were shot, chain wouldn't stay on, leaked oil, seat was ripped, plastic was cracked and coated with a couple different colors of house paint (I think yellow was the last color). It was so bad, a push off a cliff probably would have improve it some.

Oh, just the valve. Thought you was talking about caps.

I don't know, mine's a little bitty black thing that goes in the end of the hose. Could try ebay for something like that.
