Ive not heard of anyone modding the ignition. You might try a hotter coil. But I wouldnt even know where to start on that one.

I am with you brother. My stock length dura blue is 1.5in wider than stock! which is kinda cool cause that is the width I was lookin for! thought I settled for stock!

My question... I want nerf bars on my (new to me) '87 lt230s. Problem... Can't find any that say they fit this bike.

Is there a "universal fit" bar(s) or some from another model that will fit?

Hey Guys,

I'm working on getting a bunch of parts together to rebuild the rear of my 230 ('87). The swing arm was extended and I am 99.9% sure it has a different shock. The problem is the shock bearings and/or bushings seem to be non-existant. You can see and hear it clunking around when you lift up the rear.

Would a shock bearing kit for a 250r, like this one...
